As a victim/survivor of abuse, Erin has developed a fascination with power dynamics and how they work, along with a deep commitment to upending them at every level—especially in the world of publishing.
Erin tells us about her book coaching practice and how she empowers authors to make their writing the best it can be. We discuss what the relationship looks like between coach and author and how it differs from other author service relationships.
We delve into the power dynamics in publishing and the effect it has on authors, but particularly authors outside of the power dynamics. We also chat about women writing and using their trauma in the horror genre.
